From a color palette, logos, and messaging to website redesign, marketing materials, and social images, these samples are a glimpse of this government contracting agency’s first brand communications strategy after 14 years in business. The previous approach included a confusing website, unclear messaging and services, single color visuals, and new designs needed for each communications asset from proposals to marketing materials for events. This led to lost billable hours, inefficient operations, and confusion among agency clients. I wrote marketing flyer copy, web copy, and blog posts, developed an editorial calendar and social media strategy, and worked with a graphic designer to develop the visual elements. Engagement in all digital channels increased as a result (seen in one of the images below), and so did the agency’s reputation and business development function, easing thought leaders’ and executives’ conversations and ability to secure business with existing and potential clients.
